Birdstep SmartConnect is a connection manager application that organizes
Internet Access Points into connection groups, and automatically chooses
the best available Internet connection when one is required, according to
priorities set up by the user.

In addition to this, automatic hotspot login is provided (for supported
hotspots).

Optionally, Seamless Roaming is supported using the SmartRoaming service. This
can be enabled on a per connection group basis, and enables the user to switch
between different connections and classes of connections (e.g. WLAN and GPRS),
without interrupting already active sessions.
